CERAMIC RINGS

Rings made out of ceramics are lightweight and incredibly comfortable to wear. Similarly to tungsten, ceramic is a very strong material and cannot easily be scratched. And if by mischance you do get a scratch, it will not be very apparent because ceramic rings have the same colour through and through.

All ceramic rings from This Dad Made That are finished to a high polish and keep their shine for years.

FACTS ABOUT CERAMIC RINGS

  • Ceramics are not metallic material like steel, titanium and tungsten.

  • Ceramics are usually black or white but can be made in beautiful colours.

  • Ceramic is naturally hypoallergenic.

  • Ceramics do not conduct electricity very well.

TUNGSTEN CARBIDE

This Dad Mades That's range of tungsten carbide rings have proved popular for those with jobs where the rings might be subject to a lot of wear and tear. Tungsten carbide is a dense, heavy metal, which means tungsten rings are very resistant to scratching and will keep their finish far longer than other metals. No metal is completely infallible, but none are as scratch-resistant as tungsten carbide.

STERLING SILVER

Chosen for its strength and beauty, sterling silver has a lifetime of durability. Pure silver is very soft, making it a poor choice for an everyday ring, such as an engagement ring or wedding band. The addition of copper makes silver strong.

STAINLESS STEEL

Stainless steel is made of a mixture of iron, carbon and chromium the latter metal gives stainless steel its shine and resistance to corrosion

Rings made of stainless steel are relatively inexpensive, stay beautiful and shiny for many years. They are hard as well as durable and generally, are a great choice.
